Wave is designed with safety in mind.
We’ve put multiple safeguards in place to reduce risks and keep your Instagram account as safe as possible when sending DMs.
That said, Instagram automation always requires caution. Below is what Wave does on its side to keep things safe.
💡 If anything is unclear or you have doubts, feel free to reach out using the chat.
🌍 Country & City Selection
When you connect your account, Wave asks you to select a country and city.
This allows Wave to:
simulate a normal login from a location close to yours
avoid unusual login patterns
reduce suspicious activity alerts from Instagram
📱 Warm-Up Process
When a new Instagram account is connected, Wave applies a warm-up phase.
During this phase:
Wave performs light, human-like activity
no DMs are sent immediately
trust is built gradually with Instagram
This is why, in most cases, DMs start sending the next day after connecting a new account.
📈 Ramp-up process
When sending DMs, Wave never starts at full speed.
Instead:
campaigns start at around 10 new DMs per day
volume increases gradually
Wave automatically reaches the limit you configured
This avoids sudden spikes in activity and keeps things safe over time.
💡 Important Note
Wave does everything it can to keep your account safe, but you also play a role.
How you build your audiences, write messages, and configure campaigns matters.
