🚀 Create and launch a campaign
Launching a campaign is straightforward.
You just need to define how and when Wave should send your messages. To do that:
Give your campaign a name
Select the audience you want to contact
Select the sequence you want to send
Choose the days and hours when the campaign should run
(everything uses your local timezone
🚫 Exclude already contacted users
When selecting an audience, you can enable Exclude already contacted users.
When enabled, Wave will not send DMs to:
users already contacted through Wave
users you already have an open conversation with on Instagram
This option is enabled by default and helps you focus only on new prospects.
📩 Set the number of new DMs per day
You can choose how many new DMs per day Wave should send. It is important to know that:
New DMs per day only refers to the initial message (new conversations started)
Follow-ups are sent in addition to this number
💡 When do DMs start sending?
If you just connected your Instagram account, Wave applies a short warm-up to keep your Instagram account safe, so messages usually start the next day.
If the account is already connected and warmed up, DMs can start sending the same day.
📈 Ramp-up process
To keep things safe, Wave applies a ramp-up process when a campaign starts.
Campaigns start at ~10 new DMs/day
The volume increases gradually to automatically reach the number of new DMs you specified
This helps your account warm up naturally and keep it safe.
